The Cathedral Choral Scholars are thrilled to collaborate with one of the world’s great musicians, David Briggs. Known for his unbridled virtuosity and passion for making organ music vibrant and accessible to a wide and diverse audience, David is one of the most sought after composers, improvisers and organists of his generation. The centerpiece of this choral program will be a complete performance of Mr. Briggs’s Messe pour Notre-Dame, composed for and premiered at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
This concert utilizes the Noack Organ in the choir loft and will be displayed on the screen in the front of the Cathedral Basilica. You can enjoy the close up views of the musicians on screen while taking in the incredible sounds that shimmer through the Cathedral acoustic.
