Africa to Afros Culinary Journey Dinner – Second Edition

Travel on a journey with talented Chefs Todd Harris, Chef/Owner of The Garage at Victory North in Savannah and Bernard Bennett, the James Beard nominated Chef/Owner of okàn restaurant in Bluffton. Expressing their heartfelt appreciation of the ingredients and dishes that we too often ignore, Chef Todd and Chef Bernard have cultivated a menu to honor these cuisines.
We are excited to offer 2 seatings to enjoy our collaborative dinner! One seating at 5:30 PM will be offered and a second seating at 8:00 PM. Senegal – Thieboudienne – Grouper, sweet potato, okra, smoked fish
Ghana – Kontomire Soup – Cocoyam leaves, Mushrooms, escargot, plantains, FuFu
Nigeria – Suya – Lamb Skewers, Yajin Kuli sauce, Bib Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion + Herbs
Haiti – Bòy nan pwa – Iron and clay peas, Dumpling + Coconut
Jamaica – Red Snapper Escovitch, Charleston Rice Grits + Pigeon Peas
Cuba – Rabo y arroz congri con yuca mojo – yuca, oxtail, black beans, rice
Dominican – Guava Hand pies – Guava, cream cheese, banana ice cream, urfa and peanut crunch
