District Live at Plant Riverside District Announces Concerts Featuring Joan Osborne, Tab Benoit, Five for Fighting and Other Top Artists

District Live, an exciting new live music venue powered by Live Nation at Plant Riverside District in Savannah, Ga., recently announced eight new concerts, featuring Grammy Award nominees Joan Osborne, Tab Benoit and Five For Fighting as well as Atlanta folk sensation Rising Appalachia and country music favorites Matt Rogers, Caitlyn Smith and Priscilla Block.

“District Live is the perfect place to see music legends as well as the stars of tomorrow,” said Tyler Gray, Director of Entertainment at JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. “We’re thrilled to welcome these talented artists to our state-of-the-art performance venue at Plant Riverside District.”

RISING APPALACHIA

Wednesday, March 16 — 8 p.m.

$25 in advance | $30 day of show

Tickets on sale February 11, 10 a.m. ET

Founded by Atlanta sisters Leah and Chloe Smith, Rising Appalachia combines global musical influences with their Southern roots to create rich, inviting folk-inspired songscapes. Known for their collection of sounds, stories and songs steeped in tradition, these multi-instrumentalists dazzle audiences with their live performances.

MATT ROGERS WITH JOSH JOHANSSON

Saturday, March 19 — 8 p.m.

$15 in advance | $17 day of show

A regular performer at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in Nashville, Tenn., Georgia native and rising country music star Matt Rogers is known for his emotionally gripping lyrics and unmistakable melodies. His song “I Was Raised” was selected by the National Songwriters Association International as a Top 40 song, and his crowd-pleasing song “Burn the Boat” was featured on Buzzfeed’s “Top 10 Hottest Country Summer Jams.”

PRISCILLA BLOCK

Saturday, April 9 — 8 p.m.

$15 in advance | $20 at the door

Priscilla Block is a country artist for 2022, offering unfiltered, relatable songwriting and catchy melodies. Known for her “Block Party” sound — a unique blend of country pop and Southern rock — Block has made a name for herself with her self-love anthem “Thick Thighs” and her iTunes and country radio chart-topping hit “Just About Over You.”

JOAN OSBORNE

Sunday, April 10 — 8 p.m.

$55 in advance | $60 at the door

Best known for her international hit single “One of Us,” Joan Osborne is an eight-time Grammy nominee and multi-platinum selling recording artist who uses soulful songs to address greater societal issues. Osborne has traveled the U.S. and the world performing live for more than 25 years, delighting generations of fans.

TAB BENOIT WITH LIGHTNIN’ MALCOLM

Friday, April 15 — 8:30 p.m.

$35 in advance | $40 at the door

Tab Benoit is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and guitarist who has entertained audiences with his impressive guitar riffs and Louisiana-inspired Delta blues songs for more than three decades. An acclaimed performer, Benoit is a two-time B.B. King Entertainer of the Year honoree and earned five Blues Music Awards for his groundbreaking contributions to the genre.

MOLLY TUTTLE AND GOLDEN HIGHWAY

Wednesday, April 20 – 8 p.m.

Praised by Rolling Stone for her “expressive, crystalline voice and astounding flat picking guitar skills,” Molly Tuttle stands apart as one of the fastest rising stars of the bluegrass scene. FIVE FOR FIGHTING WITH STRING QUARTET

Tuesday, May 10 — 8:30 p.m.

$55 in advance | $60 at the door

Grammy Award nominee and Los Angeles native John Ondrasik is the voice behind Five for Fighting’s timeless, heartfelt songs. Hit songs include his double-platinum “100 Years” and his international hit single “Superman,” which served as an uplifting anthem following the September 11 terrorist attacks. Five for Fighting’s iconic songs have been featured in 350 films and TV shows.

CAITLYN SMITH WITH LULU THE GIANT

One of Nashville’s brightest rising stars, Caitlyn Smith is a talented singer-songwriter who was raised in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. She has released several critically acclaimed albums and has toured with iconic performers including Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Sheryl Crow and Amos Lee.
