District Gelato will host its grand opening event Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Located on the street level of Plant Riverside’s Three Muses building at 400 W. River St., District Gelato features indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Savannah River and is open seven days a week.
Saturday’s event will feature a kids arts and crafts corner as well as a live performance by the Savannah Bananas Pep Band.
District Gelato offers Savannah’s only house-made gelato as well as fresh-baked Italian cookies, biscotti, shakes, sundaes and more.
