The Savannah-Chatham Sustainability Coalition is partnering with local non-profits for “Earth Day Savannah Month.” The month-long event is a celebration of Earth Day in April, featuring a collective of virtual and small, in-person events. On Saturday, Savannah artist Joanne Morton invited people at Forsyth Park to take part in her community engagement art project, The Manifesting Mobile. We’re told The Manifesting Mobile’s goal is to unite the community by sharing people’s visions for a healthy planet by building a large-scale, hanging art mobile. “When we come together and we share ideas, it gives us opportunity to have conversations about what we want to do, and then we can take action.” Morton said. “In this city we have over 25 non-profits that could use help every day.
